Green events for corporate teams that encourage creativity and fun competition, Recycled Racing

As the name suggests Recycled Racing is an exciting “green” program that tests your group’s creative ability to design and build a small-scale racecar and track.

Then it’s off to the races as crews cheer on their chosen drivers in each of their team’s assigned heats.

While real-life race teams use mechanics, metal and rubber, your teams will use everyday reusable garbage items such as wood, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, elastic bands, screws, and more, to build their vehicle.

During this event some team members are designing and building the racecar while others join the “track” teams to build, test and decorate the track to be used for the heats. Other team challenges include creating a team name, flag, and decorating the driver’s race suit.

Gravity and cheers power these recycled racecars down the track and across the ballroom. During the races, all teams can visit their “pit” for an opportunity to make some adjustments and fine-tune their vehicle for the remainder of the competition.

At the completion of the Recycled Race, teamwork and ingenuity are rewarded in the “Winner’s Circle” for design, race results and team spirit.

Space Requirement
20 sq. ft. per person. For the iPad® version of this program, Internet access via Wi-Fi must be provided by the client at the event location.

Ask us about adding a fun Check Donation puzzle activity to the end of your program. It can be for the benefit of any charity and in any amount your company wishes to donate. Hands-On Teamwork - A four-wheeled challenge in teamwork and time management, as the group must complete the building process on time while ensuring the resulting car is competitive.

Fun Competition – Passion runs high when you are presented with a direct challenge on the track. This activity demonstrates how properly placed competition can lead to outstanding results on the track …and at work.

Delegating Responsibilities – Each team member must fully understand the importance of their specific role in this event and take full responsibility for that task whether it impacts the cars performance or showcases its visual style.

Pricing
Pricing varies depending upon the number of participants (minimum of 30) and includes facilitators, master of ceremonies, building stations, toolbox supplies, team packets, racing décor, race track, prize medals and complete event coordination
